Finally, there has been a shift in attitudes towards collective bargaining and the role of unions in society. Additionally, the rise of the gig economy and the increasing prevalence of freelance work have made it more difficult for traditional unions to organize workers and advocate for their rights. As a result, some workers may see little benefit in joining a union and may prefer to negotiate on their own behalf.
